Microsoft: Windows 10 can upgrade for free, but does not cover the Enterprise Edition

on the 21st of this month, Microsoft released the Windows 10 Consumer Preview, and introduced a preview version of Windows 10 features and system upgrade strategy. Microsoft had previously said that within the existing Windows 7/8 / 8.1 users can publish on Windows 10 year free upgrade to this

Microsoft will offer two different services for enterprise customers, namely long service branch (Long Term Servicing Branch) and for the operations of the current branch (Current Branch for Business). The former will continue to receive the latest and best security updates and support enterprises to upgrade, but the system does not support the cycle push consumer versions of feature updates, which pushes the consumer version of the feature updates, when the service is Windows Insider successfully tested for compatibility with the system and will not make an impact when pushed.

But anyway, these two types of services you can enjoy a complete Windows 10 system, and is compatible with existing hardware and current businesses need to run old software environment.

The new system integrates the new Windows 10 Start menu, and include convenient combo device switch plate and Continuum feature computer operating mode, the English version of Cortana, set the switch to support fast and interactive global notification set right "Operation Center (Action Center) ", the integration of applications and the original control panel to set the new system settings and other functions.

Microsoft's Windows 10 technical preview version as early as October last year for Windows testers registered open, but the final version will be this fall, Microsoft said, "when available. However, the specific release date is still unknown. Upgrade the current price there is no definite news .Windows 10 system hardware requirements is to have more than 1GHz processor, 1GB (32-bit) or 2GB (64-bit) memory, 16GB hard disk space, in theory, as long as your device can smooth running Windows 8.1 it is entirely possible to run Windows 10 systems.
