MediaTek MT6795: The world's first ultra-slow motion function support 1/16

Last year, Taiwan chip maker MediaTek MediaTek released the world's first true eight-core mobile processor, not much attention outside of the strong, but also suffered severe criticism of peers, especially rival Qualcomm, strongly advocated the purpose chip instead of getting better multicore.

Interestingly, in the next few months, Qualcomm denied their point of view, while the mass production of its own Snapdragon 810 is also a true eight-core processor, although plagued by overheating problems, but now has its best efforts to address and identify a number of manufacturers of high-quality flagship almost all will be used.

However, I believe that no one vendor MediaTek chip overlooked, especially not yet fully released the latest chip MT6795, claims to be the world's first to support 2K resolution 64 eight-core processor, the frequency up to 2.2GHz. Speculation that the chip is composed of eight Cortex-A53 core configuration through big.LITTLE made, but also with big.LITTLE different standards, because MediaTek allowed all eight cores can work simultaneously, but does not rule out eight Cortex -A57 kernels possibilities.

MT6795 strengths is the slow motion video capabilities

in order to reflect the MT6795 can compete with the strength of Qualcomm, MediaTek is also within the chip added some of their own technologies, such as super-slow-motion video of a recent publicity shot (Super-Slow Motion) function, a simple that is to speed up the frequency of photography when shooting, and playback according to photographic techniques normal or slower frequency for video shooting enthusiasts, this is a very nice feature.

Watch the promotional video, find that MediaTek MT6795 propaganda is the world's first mobile phone that allows slow playback speed to 1/16 chip, 1080p video recording maximum frame rate of up to 480fps:

In fact, most manufacturers are most pleased that the MediaTek MT6795 also joined the 2K (2560 × 1600) resolution support, the screen refresh rate support up to 120MHz, as well as intelligent video ClearMotion multiplier frame interpolation technology. Also, in the video MT6795 also supports H.265 Ultra HD (4K2K) recording and decoding.

MediaTek compete with Qualcomm continues, and with the addition of the new chip, Samsung 14nm, the war became more intense this year. At the same time, LG has revealed its own earlier for its own mobile platform to build high-end chips, but yet further action occurs.
